Celebrating Progress and Achievements in the 2024-25 School Year!

Savanna School District is truly exceptional! With the 2024-25 school year already well underway, we couldn’t be prouder of the progress our students and staff have made. Our focus remains steadfast on academic excellence, empowering our students to realize their full potential through continuous learning and an unwavering commitment to excellence. There's so much to celebrate as we reflect on our accomplishments and look forward to the rest of the year!

We’re thrilled to see the continued success of our very popular WINGS after-school expanded learning program.  During WINGS, an acronym for Wonder • Inspire • Nurture • Grow • Succeed, students have opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, music, art, and science activities in structured, engaging hands-on learning experiences.  Similarly, our B.R.I.G.H.T. Learners Academy, which stands for Build • Realize • Imagine • Grow • Harvest • Thrive, continues to shine as a program designed for two, three, and four-year-old children. We are inspired by the incredible growth of our youngest learners and look forward to seeing their remarkable achievements throughout the rest of the year!

This year also marked the launch of our partnership with the Orange County Department of Education and Vital Link to offer an Apprentice Program for young adults aged 16-24. The program blends hands-on experience and training with classroom instruction, equipping apprentices with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in early childhood, child care, and recreation. Apprenticeships are available for those interested in working with school-age children in after-school programs and with children aged two to four in early education settings. Together, we’re preparing Tomorrow’s Leaders!

We can’t wait to celebrate the incredible milestones our students will reach as the 2024-25 school year continues, shaping the next generation of leaders!
